What to Expect

The future of basketball is now, and has arrived in New England. URBN. Series is proud to announce that our inaugural series will be played April 25th and will be kindly hosted by Weston HS, in Weston, Massachusetts. 

❋ Faster paced games

A 10-minute game with a 12-second shot clock will facilitate faster-paced games, ensuring non-stop action for all the games. 

❋ First to 21

A team will win a game if they are the first team to reach 21 and reach it by a margin of 2 points. If this isn’t reached, the team with the most points at the end of 10 minutes wins. 

❋ Pursuit of Greatness

The winner of the series will win a cash prize to be announced at a later date.

❋ Entertainment beyond basketball

Players and Spectators alike will be able to enjoy local food options, music, and have the opportunity to buy exclusive URBN. “Inaugural Series” clothing.

Series Format

Qualify for Grand Final

URBN. Inaugural Series will follow the format seen in many high-level FIBA 3x3 Tournaments:

  • Group Stage:

    • 3 Groups of 4

    • Winner of each stop earns top seed honors in group

  • Knock-Out Stage:

    • Stage consists of:

      • Top 2 of each group

      • The 2 best 3rd-place teams - determined by record and points difference

      • Single Elimination through the final

Event Experience - Food and Vendors

URBN. Hoop Series’ mission is to expand 3x3 basketball while also creating a fun, exciting environment for players and spectators alike. URBN. Inaugural Series will include a “Tournament Hub“ where there will be local food vendors, as well as other local vendors present for you to enjoy.
